Business, Advocacy, Faith, Government and Rural Leaders To Celebrate, Plan

DENVER – Health care advocates, sector leaders and government representatives will celebrate successes and train for the future at the annual Colorado Voices for Coverage conference, Going for the Gold!, on Wed., June 4, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the PPA Event Center.

Organized by the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, the conference participants like Connect for Health Colorado director Patty Fontneau and Sen. Irene Aguilar will explore Colorado’s implementation of Affordable Care Act outreach, enrollment and access to care. In addition, panelists from across the country will cover:

  • National overview of state-based efforts
  • Southern California’s small business outreach and enrollment
  • Kentucky’s lessons learned in its successful Kynect exchange
  • Health care literacy development
  • Culturally relevant outreach and assistance
