 Paid opportunities:

        • Consumer Advisory Board Member Community Advisory Board (CAB) members will deepen the commitment to CCHI’s mission by shifting power in directing the future of our work to community members who are directly impacted by structural barriers to accessing health care. CAB members will have input on policy that CCHI is pursuing, as well as help to inform CCHI of the health care needs that we should be investigating based on what they see as the most important health care needs for their communities. ESPAÑOLLos miembros de la Junta Consultiva Comunitaria (CAB) profundizarán el compromiso con la misión del CCHI al trasladar el poder de dirigir el futuro de nuestro trabajo a los miembros de la comunidad que se ven directamente afectados por las barreras estructurales para acceder a la atención médica. Los miembros del CAB harán contribuciones a la política que CCHI persigue, así como ayudarán a informar al CCHI de las necesidades de atención médica que deberíamos investigar basándonos en lo que consideran las necesidades de atención médicas más importantes para sus comunidades.
      • Volunteer opportunities:
        • Consumer Assistance Program Volunteer- As a Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) volunteer, you will help Coloradans who experience issues with their health coverage. We help navigate hospital financial assistance programs, surprise medical bills, health care denials, claims issues, and negotiating payment plans with doctors, clinics, hospitals and collections agencies. We can also refer people to health coverage enrollment assistance and to other basic needs programs like food and energy assistance.
        • Remote Health Care Affordability Canvasser Volunteer Though this volunteer canvasser position we hope to reach Colorado’s consumers across the state as we navigate an unprecedented legislative session. Join our team in moving our state to health care affordability by collecting stories and mobilizing consumers to action!
