“Making sure Coloradans get the health care they need, when they need it”
DENVER – More than 170 health care consumers, business-owners and nonprofit members will lobby their legislators at the Capitol for the 7th annual Health Care Day of Action on Thursday, March 7, 2013. These constituents will focus attention on ensuring that all Coloradans get the health care they need, when they need it.
Constituent lobbyists will participate in advocacy workshops, meet with legislators, and attend, the keynote address by Director of Public Health Policy at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Mayra Alvarez.

Colorado Consumer Health Initiative represents 50+ Colorado health organizations with more than 500,000 health care consumer members, advocating for affordable, accessible, quality health care for all Coloradans. CCHI organizes Health Care Day of Action every year to give constituents an opportunity to lobby their legislators on health care policy issues.
