In 2018, we launched our Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) to help consumers navigate complex medical billing issues and challenge predatory billing practices. In the 7 years since that launch, our CAP team has saved Coloradans over $12 million in unjust medical bills.We are excited to invite you to our first Fundraising Breakfast with CCHI, an exciting opportunity to hear firsthand from our Executive Director, Mannat Singh, as well as our incredible CAP team about the impact of their work.

For the past 25 years, the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative (CCHI) has centered real people in health policy—fighting for affordability, fairness, and strong consumer protections. We see a world in which families have access to the food, housing, and health care they need to thrive. We see a world in which people with chronic illness are treated as whole humans, and can access lifesaving drugs and treatments without facing financial ruin. We see a world in which everyone has affordable health coverage, and can access care regardless of who they are, where they come from, or where they live. We want a world where everyone can access care without barriers. But we can’t do it alone, and your support is needed now more than ever to ensure that our work can continue to uplift Coloradans.
