Priya Telang
Communications Manager
Priya joined the CCHI staff in May 2022 as the Communications Manager. In her role, she seeks to expand health care policy literacy and make complex policy more accessible to everyone.
Before joining CCHI, Priya served as an Americorps VISTA in Montana, where she advocated for equitable, affordable, and safe child care practices. As a VISTA, she found her passion in promoting child care scholarships for low-income families and expanding child safety and equity programs through community outreach and program investment. Priya joined the CCHI team to continue her work in anti-poverty policy advocacy and programming through consumer literacy.
Priya is originally from Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies. In her free time, Priya enjoys nordic skiing, hiking with friends, and working her way through NPR’s Best Book list.
