Perla Trevizo (she/her/ella) is the Advocacy Coordinator at the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative (CCHI), where she helps bring real community voices to the front lines of health policy. From preparing advocates for public testimony to building strong partnerships across the state, she’s passionate about making sure people feel seen, heard, and empowered in the systems that affect them most.

Perla earned her Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the Colorado School of Public Health and holds a Bachelor’s in Biology (with a side of Chemistry!) from CSU Pueblo. Her background includes bilingual community outreach, equity-focused research, and making complex public health info accessible to the families who need it most. She’s excited to be part of a team that values people, purpose, and policy—and can’t wait to help create change from the ground up.

When she’s off the clock, you’ll probably find Perla behind a camera lens capturing Colorado’s nature and wildlife, baking sweet treats for loved ones, getting crafty with a DIY project, or out exploring hidden gems and new spots around town.
