Melissa Duncan
Consumer Assistance Program Manager
Melissa is a Colorado native who is passionate about advocacy and providing outstanding customer service. She is excited to join CCHI and give support to others on their journey to receive equitable access to quality healthcare. She has her Master’s degree in Counseling and previously worked over 10 years for mpowered, a local nonprofit organization. While there, she coached clients towards financial health including; budgeting, action planning and disputing inaccurate information on credit reports. She strives to bring her positivity to every client interaction while building rapport. In her spare time, you can find her hiking with her family, reading and cheering on the Broncos and Avalanche.

25th Anniversary Celebration
The Colorado Consumer Health Initiative is thrilled to announce our 25th Anniversary Celebration! We are celebrating 25 years of bringing consumer voices to the center of health policy in Colorado and beyond, advancing equitable access to health care for all Coloradans. Please join us on Wednesday, September 24th at the Denver Botanic Gardens in support of our staff, partners, and community members that make this work possible. This celebration, held in Mitchell Hall, will include dinner, drinks, brief programming, and all-day entrance to the Botanic Gardens.
