Kat is originally from Michigan and recently graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in French. While at Colorado College, Kat conducted public opinion research with the Department of Political Science, tutored at the writing center, and worked in the Office of Admission. As CCHI’s Policy Fellow, Kat is looking forward to advocating for community-driven legislation that increases health equity across Colorado. Outside of work you can find her trying out new recipes, running, and taking her dog Laramie for walks around town.
