Our Work at the Capitol
Amplifying the voices of Coloradans struggling to access the health care they need and working collaboratively with our members and partners has helped us achieve many victories and advance good policies while guarding against harmful ones. We ensure that policies we help pass are implemented effectively through regulations and state agencies.
Before each legislative session, CCHI works with our members and consumers we engage to identify policy priorities that guide our work at the Capitol. For 2021, we identified our main priorities were to address health care coverage and affordability, health care costs, access to care, consumer protection, and improving social determinants of health and health equity.
