Before submitting a request for help, please check our Consumer Resources page. It’s possible the solution to your situation is something simple you can take care of today once you’re armed with the right information!
I Need Help
If you’ve already checked the Consumer Resources page and still need assistance from a Consumer Assistance Program team member, please fill out the form below and one of our team members will get back to you as soon as possible. Assistance is free for consumers, please note that we do not have the financial resources to help pay medical bills.
While we strive to respond to new inquiries within five (5) business days, due to a tremendous increase in inquiries and staffing limitations, it may take longer. Please be patient.
What is the process?
A CAP team member will contact you by phone and/or email within 5 business days to get more information.
- We’ll then send a follow-up email with a summary of what we discussed, what you’d like us to help you with, and an authorization form.

- We may request documents such as bills, explanations of benefits, and insurance information and we will provide ways to share them with us securely.
- Next, we’ll work with you to develop a plan to come to the best possible resolution, and our team will follow up with you regularly throughout the duration of your case.
- Once your case is closed, you’ll receive a follow-up survey to see how we did, be provided with opportunities to get more involved in CCHI’s legislative and policy work, and we’ll make a small donation request.
- This program is free and you do not need to donate to receive services. Our program relies on donations from our community to keep this free service available, though, so your generosity is very much appreciated!
When will I hear back about my case?
Sometimes we have a higher-than-usual number of cases, so it may take us longer than 5 business days to respond to your request. We appreciate your patience as we work our hardest to serve the community.

2023 Community Voices Conference
Join us Tuesday, October 10th for CCHI’s Community Voices Fall Conference on Storytelling in partnership with Family Voices Colorado and the Center for African American Health. Community Voices will feature keynote speaker Dr. Tamaan Osbourne-Roberts as well as panels and workshops from community members and advocates sharing their knowledge, lived experiences, and the importance of their stories.
