Consumer Assistance Program Fellow
Saúl is from Phoenix, Arizona and recently graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Molecular Biology. During his time in school, he was involved in SOMOS, the Latinx student union, the Bridge Scholar Program and Outdoor Education. In his work with SOMOS, he helped plan the annual Cesar Chavez/Dolores Huerta March in Colorado Springs to bring awareness to the history of the United Workers Union, immigration reform and women’s rights. Additionally, during a summer, he participated in the Summer Health Professions Education Program at UCLA which focused on preparing future health professionals to build a more equitable healthcare system. He is committed to creating a more accessible healthcare system through his work with CAP.
