Rivers Isaacson is a Master of Social Work student at Metropolitan State University of Denver and is interning at CCHI for the 2022-2023 school year. A native of San Diego, Rivers first moved to the Denver area to do his master’s degree in political science at CU Boulder. He has also completed a master’s degree in sociology, during which he specialized in public health and health disparities. His most recent M.A. thesis demonstrated a correlation between electoral outcomes and public health in the United States, with public health indicators generally getting worse. After graduating with his MSW in May 2023, Rivers plans to work in policy analysis and advocacy in Denver.
