Miriam Ordoñez Rodriguez
Miriam has worked at the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative (CCHI) as the Field Manager since 2020. In her role as Field Manager, Miriam mobilizes health care consumers across Colorado for health care access and affordability through planning and implementing grassroots engagement opportunities that range from story collection to accountability campaigns. As the Field Manager, Miriam is passionate about building engagement and consumer relationships to guarantee that underrepresented communities have opportunities to be involved and informed about health care initiatives that affect their livelihood. Miriam is originally from La Mina, Guanajuato, Mexico, and prior to working with CCHI she worked with COLOR to create, manage, and implement grassroots campaigns to protect and expand reproductive rights for the Latinx community. Miriam holds a B.A. in Philosophy with both a Minor in Legal Studies and in English Writing.
