Miriam Ordoñez Rodriguez
Miriam is from La Mina, Guanajuato, Mexico and graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a B.A. in Philosophy, with both a Minor in Legal Studies and a Minor in English Writing. During her time in school she participated in numerous activities concentrating on creating awareness around housing and food insecurity for students and Colorado residents, while helping distribute food and fundraise for these causes. Miriam brings to CCHI three years of experience working and running organizing programs with nonpartisan nonprofit organizations around reproductive justice. Through her role as Field Manager Miriam is dedicated to uniting consumers around Colorado for health care access through story collection, calls to action, and connecting community leaders to leadership opportunities. Her interests outside of work range from photography to plants, with a strong passion for learning and writing poetry.
