The Women’s Lobby of Colorado continues to give its highest marks to Democrats. In fact, Rep. Mike Foot of Lafayette is the only Democratic legislator in either chamber to get less than 100, and he notched a 92 on the latest annual scorecard released by the nonpartisan but obviously left-leaning organization.
Some of the organizations that make up the Women’s Lobby give a good idea about why its scorecard tips to the left: 9to5 Colorado, American Association of University Women, Colorado Fiscal Institute. NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado, National Council of Jewish Women, Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, Conservation Colorado, Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, Colorado Center on Law and Policy, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Colorado Youth Matter, Frontline Public Affairs, Good Works Group, ProgressNow Colorado, Women’s Collaborative for Colorado and the Blossom Project.
